Puspanita, the women wing of the Malaysia Information Department, came on a four day visit to Sabah

Led by it's woman leader Datin Salehah Abdul Hak, the group of 30 from Kuala Lumpur and 14 from Sabah,  visited the Timpohon Gate, the point where mountain climbers begin and end their climbing of Mount Kinabalu.

They were excited to see the clear view of the majestic mountain and basked in the serene beauty of it's nature.

They were briefed on  the geological and bio-diversity information  at the Park's  Gallery.

Later the group enjoyed fish massage at Sungai Moroli in Kg. Luanti, 17 km from Ranau.

They also visited Poring in the evening.

On Wednesday the women wing visited the Manukan island where they enjoyed the clean beach and clear sea for about two hours.

A participant said this was the first visit to Sabah and totally excited.

" This can be the greatest gift for me on the 50th Malaysia Day celebration," she said.

The Puspanita group will vist Papar on Thursday.-/PENERANGAN
